Record of Lodoss War for Sega Dreamcast is a hack-and-slash role-playing affair that will keep you glued to your Dreamcast through more than 40 hours of dungeon-crawling, monster-slicing exploration. You play as the hero (you decide on your character's name), who has just been brought back to life by the powerful wizard Wart. Your quest is to save the land of Marmo and stop the resurrection of the nefarious Goddess Cardice. Play ensues in an isometric view much like DIABLO, but the detailed graphics and 3D battles take place in real-time, requiring quick strategic combat skills. Dice your way through ogres, goblins, skeletons, bats, and more using upgradable swords or flesh-zapping magic spells. Collect valuable Mithrill and use it as currency to have the dwarf blacksmith enhance your weapons and armor. For 1 Player.
